"I'm glad to hear it." I offer him another soft smile, then nod as he details how he's been keeping himself busy. There is still much guilt in me, concern for those that were the unknowing test subjects for the Sengoku Drivers. Having gotten to know Kazuraba, and after learning more about the others, I have come to regret many of the decisions I made regarding Helheim and its threat. It is something I still need to work out, something I still need to find atonement for, and hopefully eventual internal forgiveness.

Hopefully I will have the time to do so.

We arrive at a small park not too far away from my home, and Kazuraba seems to be scanning the area for something. It is not heavily populated do to the time of year and hour of the day, and I wonder if he is expecting a third party to join us.

"The recovery project is going slowly, but progress is being made." I breathe a small sigh, rolling my shoulders to hopefully relieve some of the tension from them. "I only wish I had the time and ability to do more."
